Jacquilyn Arias is a certified and licensed speech and language pathologist. She received her master’s degree from the University of Houston and is currently in the doctoral program for communication sciences and disorders. She has experience in pediatric and adult settings, working with patients with a variety of communication, swallowing and feeding disorders.
She is Hanen-certified in “It Takes Two to Talk”, “More than Words”, and “Learning Language and Loving It”. She has completed extensive trainings in childhood apraxia of speech and is Beckman Oral Motor certified. She is a four-time recipient of the ASHA continuing education award in recognition of her dedication to furthering her education and staying current with evidence-based practice.
Jacquilyn is a three-time presenter at the Texas Speech and Hearing Association conference. She has also presented at schools, clinics, and conferences in topics related to bilingual intervention, evaluation, play, apraxia, and group therapy. Her passion is empowering families and professionals to meet the needs of the whole child through naturalistic and evidence-based interventions.
